Apophyllite ~

Apophyllite is part of the mica group, which in turn belongs to the silicate group.  Silicates comprise about 90 percent of the earth's crust and all forms of it contain silicon and oxygen.

Apophyllite is distinguished by its showy pyramidal forms which have a rather stubby appearance.  This geode has some lovely clusters in it:
