Lepidolite ~

Lepidolite is part of the mica group.  It is characterised by a greyish lavender colour.  Specks or flakes of mica can usually be seen in it.

It was a favourite of mine at one time and I collected a range of specimens: 

The pendant and group of three pebbles are a good representation of what I came across.

The image below shows a more plain and rock-like specimen, whereas the one that follows it shows many mica plates. 

In the next image the evenly layered plates of lavender-colour mica make it look rather like a construction of wafer biscuits.  It's a lovely piece.

The images below are different angles of the same piece.  The pieces of pink gem embedded in it are rubellite.
