Zircon ~

Zircon is one of the gemstones I know nothing about, so I hand over to Wikipedia for this brief explanation:
The natural color of zircon varies between colourless, yellow-golden, red, brown, blue, and green. Colourless specimens that show gem quality are a popular substitute for diamond; these specimens are also known as "Matura diamond".
The specimen shown below is certainly not that!  It is shown here greatly enlarged from its actual size which is less than an inch in length - for this sort of zircon that is none the less fairly large!
